Oven was bought replacing an old oven that broke unexpectedly. I was impressed how quickly it heated up! I had read about the complaints of the noise it makes when cooking and cooling down - I do hear it but no worse than other ovens that I have had. Great value for the price you pay.

Blower motor noise

Very disappointed ,turned on oven ,,immediately the blower motor turned on making a high pitch whining noise ,stayed on 20 minutes ,after oven was turned off. I know blower motors make noise ,but this is loud ,& irratating, to listen to .the person who designed this system should be fired ,where is your quality control. The range ,oven ,stove look good ,easy to use ,the blower motor design ,is bad.,with that said ,are there any recalls ,tech bulletins, or remedies ,related to blower motor on this unit.

So I recently bought four brand new appliances for my kitchen and I must say i couldn't be happier and life is now that much easier. I have water and ice from the dispenser in the fridge. All of my burners work on my stove allowing me to cook food quicker. My microwave extracts the heat better. My dishwaher is so quite i often forget it is running.

As a result of home flooding, I selected this gas range to replace my old 1990's one. I had NO idea the advances that had been made since then. This has a 5th burner which I'm jazzed to use for pancakes as soon as I get the griddle. The 'get lit' icon on the burner knobs is great for making sure I'm cooking with fire. Every time I look at my range, there's something else I notice like the Simmer burner is the right rear and the Quick Boil is the right front burner. There's so much to explore and now that I'm back in my house, I have to time to do so.

The range looks great. Love the grating over the entire surface. Using some is the controls isn't completely intuitive but not difficult to learn. Wasn't aware there is no regular cleaning cycle beyond steam clean. It's an adjustment to get used to the fan that runs from preheat until oven is cool. Oven bakes well and range of burner sizes is very good.

The oven works fine. Oven fan is obnoxiously loud though. Had I known that I may have looked for another one that was similar. We can hardly hear the tv in the living room with it running. Didn™€™t come with the LP conversion kit like I hoped so I had to search for one online for hours. Other than that there™€™s no issues.

Big improvement over my last stove

I like my new Frigidaire range. The burners are powerful and the flame goes more up than out so it doesn't go up the sides of my pots and pans. I like that I can slide a pan o the center of the grills to get it off the heat. There are a few things that made me deduct 1 star. When the oven is on, a fan runs that exhausts from the back-top of the range. It remains on even after turning off the oven. I heated the oven to 350 for 5 minutes, then turned the oven off. The fan remained on for over 20 minutes. There is no way to turn the fan off and it is kind of loud. The exhaust is directed towards the front of the stove, so you can't put anything, like a cookie tray, on the back half of the stove when using the oven without blocking the exhaust. For example, I had pots cooking on the front 2 burners and needed to take a baking sheet from the oven. I would normally slide the baking sheet across the back burners behind the pots. I can't do that with this range. If the oven is being used, you loose the back half of the stovetop. This makes large meal cooking more difficult. I now loose counterspace for things that I use to set on the stove.

My rating is 4.5 because this gas range has the look and functionality of some of the higher-priced competitor products. The oval-shaped fifth burner is a nice complement. I was considering GE's equivalent - which has an air fryer feature - but wanted to stick with Frigidaire so that all my appliances would match. One of the tradeoffs that I'd note in favor of the Frigidaire unit is that its fifth burner has a grate on it with an open flame vs. the GE's middle griddle, although I don't know if this griddle is removable.

When anything was cooking in the oven, the oven howled-loud. Even when oven was finished it still had to wind the howl down. Also the depth on the stove was about 1 inch too long so the side drawers were not able to open without banging into the oven. That was my fault for not measuring correctly. We had to return it.

About two weeks ago I bought a Frigidaire stove and I haven™€™t been able to use because it has a problem with the flame level (flame is about 1 feet tall when turned on). The factory hasn™€™t given me a solution to this problem, they keep telling me they will send a technician, however the technician never shows up, because apparently there is no available in my area. This is giving me a very large reason to never again buy a product from this brand! I have been trying to fix this problem for 12 days, calling every day, and they still haven™€™t fix this problem. I highly don™€™t recommend products from this brand due to the fact that it is a pain to process the guarantee.

Love Stovetop/Oven not so much

I review a lot before making major purchases and I was very hesitant about purchasing a range that was relatively new and with very limited reviews, but I took a chance and purchased this range anyway. No fault of the manufacturer, but I am disappointed that the delivery driver/installer turned the oven on, left the manual inside of the plastic and left it inside of the oven and left. The plastic melted on the racks and inside the bottom of the oven. After trying to remove as much as the plastic as possible, I have a brand new range with a spot at the bottom of the oven from where I tried to clean it. Now to the range itself, I knew, I wanted a five burner range and since I was getting a new range, I kind of wanted a range with all the bells and whistles of a new range, such as convection bake and air fry, but then I realized all of those things wasn™€™t really needed. If I was rating, the stovetop itself, it would be five stars hands down. The burners are powerful and heats up and cooks food fast (or as fast as you would like). I absolutely love the center burner when using a griddle for cooking breakfast or grilled cheese. The two issues, I have with the range, the fan that comes on when using the oven, is annoyingly loud and stays on for awhile after the oven is turned off. So loud, that when using the oven and trying to talk on the phone, I have to leave the kitchen. Secondly, when I bake, I set the oven to 350 and because I don™€™t trust that the oven will be at temperature, I use an oven thermometer and although the oven beeps indicating the oven is at temperature, it normally takes at least another 15 minutes or so for it it actually come up to temperature and this happens with every use. Both the annoyingly loud fan and it takes so long for the oven to actually come up to temperature, makes this somewhat of a disappointing purchase.

I had purchased this stove to replace an old insert propane stove we had in our new house. The old stove was found to leak internally so I purchased this stove not only for the look and brand name but it was also the most affordable stove I had been looking at. I ended up purchasing the stove and after realized I needed the LP conversation kit. So I ordered that direct from Fridadaire and it arrived within a couple days. We had our service tech install the stove with the conversion and to my surprise not only was this stove attractive and affordable but it cooks extremely well and FAST. The heat up time with the oven is so quick and the stove top id compare to flame throwers. :). This is by far the best cook top and oven I have ever owned.

I™€™m tired of spending lots of money on fancy ranges with all kinds of bells and whistles. I wanted one that just did what it was supposed to. This is as close as you can get to getting back to simple ranges that don™€™t have a million things to break on them. It does have a lock function to not accidentally turn the oven on with the front control panel and the burner dials have to be pressed in to turn them on, so I have not personally had any accidental turn ons. It™€™s a very nice looking range (black one) and works very well so far. Absolutely no complaints for the price.
